We Six is a Milwaukee-based lineup of some of the most experienced jazz musicians on the scene, holding down the fort for modern-day straight-ahead jazz in the region and making its own contribution to the art. The sextet has performed with notable guest artists such as Benny Golson, Phil Woods, and Brian Lynch, and as of late they are the resident faculty ensemble of the Milwaukee Jazz Institute.
